The Midway/Minto Mustangs posted their biggest victory since November 30, 2023 on Thursday. Everything went their way against Drayton/Valley-Edinburg as Midway/Minto made off with a 54-34 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Midway/Minto has posted against Drayton/Valley-Edinburg since February 9, 2021.
Drayton/Valley-Edinburg lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Aleah Pokrzywinski, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pokrzywinski has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Berg, who scored nine points.
Midway/Minto is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Drayton/Valley-Edinburg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
