Montcalm are packing up and hiking across state lines for their game on Friday. They take on Narrows at 7:00 PM. Montcalm have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Montcalm had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. Montcalm didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 16-22 to Twin Valley last Friday. Montcalm are ranked 112th in the state (230 spots ahead of Twin Valley), so the loss was all the more frustrating.
Meanwhile, Narrows made easy work of Bland-Rocky Gap and carried off a 36-6 win.
Narrows's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Montcalm's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Narrows can add another positive mark to their record or if Montcalm can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Narrows's step.
