Tanque Verde came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Andrada Polytechnic Mavericks to the tune of 77-12. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 26 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tanque Verde to victory, but perhaps none more so than Philip Knott, who went 7 of 11 en route to 17 points and three steals. Knott is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rich Knott, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 12 points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Tanque Verde is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Andrada Polytechnic, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Tanque Verde will square off against Catalina at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Tanque Verde's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Catalina has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
