 Florala got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Rayshon Coleman out in front who  posted 22  points in addition to six  boards and five  steals. Coleman's evening made it 11 games in a row in which  he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dalton Jackson, who  had 11 points and seven  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Kinston opened the new year with a less-than-successful  54-43 loss to Zion Chapel. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Kinston's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Florala, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the  win, which was their 17th straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Florala strolled past Kinston when the teams last played  back in January of 2024 by a score of  68-52. Does  Florala have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kinston turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
