Hart County took  a  22-point  loss the last time they faced off against Prince Avenue Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wolverines on Friday, sneaking past  31-28. Hart County was led to victory by  Faustino Rangel and  Zaylen Shealer.  Rangel rushed for 128 yards and a pair of  TDs, while  Shealer picked up 79 receiving yards and one  touchdown. That's the most  rushing yards  Rangel has posted since back in August of 2024.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hart County was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 247  rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  rushing yard total in three consecutive  games.
 Hart County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Ramarcus Simpson and  Shealer. That  interception was  Simpson's first of the season.
 When it comes to explaining why Prince Avenue Christian lost, don't look at  Andrew Beard. Despite the final result, he rushed for 185 yards and a pair of  scores while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also picked up 60 receiving yards. Beard's longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards.
With the  victory, Hart County broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4. As for Prince Avenue Christian, their record is now 4-2.
