Jocelyn Kramar and Avery Alcaraz were among the main playmakers for Fort Collins as the former scored 13 points along with five rebounds and the latter scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Paige Fry, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Boulder came up short against Fossil Ridge on Friday and fell 54-43.
Megan Matthews put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 21 points along with five rebounds and four steals. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played.
Fort Collins has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Boulder, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6.
Keep an eye on the arc in Tuesday's matchup: Fort Collins have been dynamite from deep this season, having drained 40.6% of their threes per game. It's a different story for Boulder, though, as they've only made 34.7% of their threes per game this season. Given Fort Collins' sizeable advantage in that area, Boulder will need to find a way to close that gap.
