Meanwhile, Elida fell victim to Coldwater and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 17-0 walloping at the hands of the Cavaliers. Elida has struggled against Coldwater recently, as their matchup on Monday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Elida saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Adcock, who went 2-for-3 with a stolen base and a double.
Celina's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Elida, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
