The West Scranton Invaders will look to take advantage of their home-pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both  are strolling into their  games after big wins in their previous games.
 West Scranton is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Wilkes-Barre. Everything went West Scranton's way against Wilkes-Barre on Friday as West Scranton made off with  a  4-1 victory.  Bryan Barbosa was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.
 Meanwhile, Greater Nanticoke Area entered their tilt with Berwick on Tuesday with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Bulldogs onto the board and left with  a   3-0  win.
 West Scranton skirted past Greater Nanticoke Area  5-4 when the teams last played  back in August of 2023. Does  West Scranton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Greater Nanticoke Area turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
