Watauga Wins Tenth-Straight Thanks to Maddox Greene
Maddox Greene was instrumental in extending Watauga's winning streak to ten on Friday. Greene did his part (and then some), rushing for 170 yards while picking up 10.6 yards per carry, and also throwing for 142 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes for the 'W'.
Watauga's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Greene will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Ragsdale on Friday.

Evan Burroughs and Co. Win Tenth in a Row
Evan Burroughs was instrumental in extending Watauga's winning streak to ten on Friday. South Caldwell had no answer to Burroughs as he made a tackle and defended a pass. Burroughs also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making a tackle and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Alexander Central Gets a Boost from Queen in 27-18 Victory
Wade Queen put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August on Friday. He rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 97 yards and a touchdown on only seven passes.
This year, Queen has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 53.2 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 16.67 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 60.99 passer rating.

Maurice Howell Jr. Has Career-Day on Friday
Maurice Howell Jr. posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending a pass.
For the year, Howell Jr. has run in 2 touchdowns while averaging 24.9 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.4 rushing yards per game.
