Mount Notre Dame put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past St. Ursula Academy 64-19 at home. Considering Mount Notre Dame has won four contests by more than 19 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Mount Notre Dame's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kailee Bransford, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reece Hackney, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Mount Notre Dame's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for St. Ursula Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Mount Notre Dame will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ryle at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Ryle focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Saturday. As for St. Ursula Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Fenwick at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bishop Fenwick will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 624th, while St. Ursula Academy is ranked 266th).
