The Bangs Dragons will take on the Cisco Loboes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bangs is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
Bangs had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Abilene Christian on Thursday. The Dragons blew past the Panthers 21-8. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Connor Bible made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Skylar Minshew was a standout: he got on base in four of his six plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Crowell, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
Bangs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Cisco didn't have quite enough to beat Winters last Friday and fell 4-3.
Pecos Duke was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Ty Rainey, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Bangs' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-7. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Cisco, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7-2.
Bangs took their victory against Cisco in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 8-1 score. Do the Dragons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Loboes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
