The Pilot Point Bearcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They really took it to S & S Consolidated for the full four quarters, racking up a 78-45 victory on the road. With Pilot Point ahead 49-23 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Despite the loss, S & S Consolidated still got an impressive performance from Brayden Turner, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Caiden Jones, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Pilot Point's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for S & S Consolidated, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
Pilot Point will be playing at home against Paradise at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Paradise presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Pilot Point in Texas (Paradise is ranked 355th, while Pilot Point is ranked 1030th). As for S & S Consolidated, they will head out on the road to face off against Boyd at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
