Hope posted their biggest victory since December 15, 2023 on Wednesday. They blew past Providence Country Day 39-17.
Sa-moni McKay was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 14 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Hope's points.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Blackstone Valley Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They were beaten by Johnston 53-23. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Blackstone Valley Prep has suffered yet this season.
Hope's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Blackstone Valley Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Hope was able to grind out a solid victory over Blackstone Valley Prep when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 33-26. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hope since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
