While Air Academy's win against Pueblo South wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Air Academy Kadets had just enough and edged out the Pueblo South Colts 7-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Kadets also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Caleb Hendrickson was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Santiago Graniel, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Air Academy's record now sits at 2-0. As for Pueblo South, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Air Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 22-4 victory against Coronado on the 11th. As for Pueblo South, they have also already played their next game, a 13-3 loss against Mead on the 11th.
