The Glenrock Herders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Buffalo, falling 62-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Glenrock has scored all season.
Buffalo found their leader in underclassman Karly Davis, who scored 25 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season. Cassidy Bessler was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with four steals.
Glenrock's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-4. As for Buffalo, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenrock won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Moorcroft at 2:00 p.m. on January 20th. Hopefully Moorcroft focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Friday. Buffalo won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Newcastle at 11:30 a.m. on January 20th. Newcastle is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
