The Jackson Timberwolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a 59-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kamiak. Jackson was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Kamiak apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played on January 6th.
Several Timberwolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Colby Cooke, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Drew Pepin, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Jackson dropped their record down to 11-6 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Kamiak, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson will square off against Glacier Peak at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Glacier Peak has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 353 points over their last five contests. As for Kamiak, they will head out on the road to face off against Mariner at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Mariner is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
