Making Waves Academy came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Fremont Christian Warriors 72-22. The Marlins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 24 points or more this season.

Making Waves Academy pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Fremont Christian, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Making Waves Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Valley Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fremont Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Redwood Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
