It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Holly ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 14-11 win over the Swink Lions. The victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Truman King made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Coy King was excellent, going 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI. He has become a key player for Holly: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-6 otherwise.

Coming up, Holly will host Wiley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Swink, they are taking a road trip to face off against Hoehne at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
