It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact L.E.A.D. Academy can now relate to. They took a 65-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Community Christian Chargers on Monday. One positive for the Lions, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Landon Palmer, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. That's the most points Palmer has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Floyd, who posted seven points and seven boards.
L.E.A.D. Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19. As for Community Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-12.
L.E.A.D. Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Community Christian has also already played their next contest, a 74-43 defeat against St. John Paul II on the 5th.
