Powell made easy work of Riverton on Friday and carried off a 29-7 win. Powell was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. This was the first game for both teams, giving Powell a 1-0 record and starting Riverton off at 0-1.
Next week, Powell take on Worland at 7:00 PM. As for Riverton, they will face of against Cody.
