It was a good run, but the Battlefield Bobcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were beaten by Gainesville 75-44. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Battlefield in their matchups with Gainesville: they've now lost six in a row.
Gainesville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Peyton White led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. White is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Grace Ellingson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
