Kramer Posts Huge Game in 56-22 Victory
Starting off the list is North Putnam's Christian Kramer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Kramer rushed for 249 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 13.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 91 yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 58 yards.
If the past is any indication, Kramer could be in store for another big game when he takes on Brown County on Friday. When Kramer last faced the Eagles back in October of 2023, he rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 206 yards and three touchdowns.

Tayt Jackson Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Tayt Jackson stepped things up a notch to give Cloverdale the 'W'. Jackson showed up in a big way, picking up 161 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 55 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. He's now once again averaging 100+ receiving yards (107) per game. His longest reception was for an incredible 81 yards.
If the past is any indication, Jackson could be in store for another big game when he takes on West Vigo on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Jackson saw the Vikings), he rushed for 153 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also picked up 56 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Owen Thurman Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Owen Thurman posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 25 yards and a touchdown.
For the season, Thurman has averaged 8.3 total tackles per game and for the season has 3 interceptions. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging one rushing yard per game. This year he is averaging 6.57 rushing yards.

Cayden Blodgett Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Greencastle had to settle for second even though Cayden Blodgett put up the best numbers he has all season. Blodgett picked up 59 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 59 yards.
Greencastle has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. Blodgett and Greencastle will stay at home for another week and welcome Cascade at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
