Baseball Recap: Mcgehee Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

McGehee entered their tilt with Dumas on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bobcats 13-2. Considering the Owls have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Drake Brown was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dakota McMickle, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

McGehee always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They are 5-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory got McGehee back to even at 8-8. As for Dumas, they dropped their record down to 2-17 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McGehee will host Monticello at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dumas, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Pine Bluff at 4:30 p.m. The Bobcats are facing the Zebras at the right time seeing as the Zebras are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
