Fennville extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping their season record up to 9-14 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 13-12 W against the Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 on Friday.

As for Hackett Catholic Prep, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by just one run.

For Hackett Catholic Prep's part, Ellie Kling made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 5-for-5 with four runs, three doubles, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Meredith Chenier, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple.
