Volleyball Recap: Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Cincinnati Christian on Thursday, Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Pickerington Central Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 15-25, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Grace Ingle, who had 17 digs and six assists. Ingle is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Among those leading the charge was Mycaela Massey, who had 11 digs and five assists. Caylee Burdine also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Pickerington Central, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Dublin Scioto on the 20th. As for Pickerington Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Centerville on the 20th.
