Newport Harbor lost to Mission Viejo back in December of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Newport Harbor Sailors were the clear victor by a 75-53 margin over the Mission Viejo Diablos. The Sailors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Mission Viejo's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Damian Navarro, who posted 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xander Willard, who had 16 points.

The win made it two in a row for Newport Harbor and bumps their season record up to 12-4. As for Mission Viejo, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
