If the Dayton Bulldogs were feeling good off their 47-12 takedown of the Prescott Tigers last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Dayton ended up on the wrong side of a tough 55-29 walloping at the hands of DeSales on Monday. Dayton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-14.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marissa Tupling, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Lila Hutchens, who scored six points.
Dayton's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for DeSales, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dayton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against River View at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd. River View is on a four-game streak of home losses, Dayton a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. DeSales won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Pomeroy at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
