The DCP Alum Rock Lobos suffered their biggest defeat since December 21, 2023 on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 78-43 loss at the hands of More. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for DCP Alum Rock in their matchups with More: they've now lost six in a row.
Several Lobos players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Fabian Mendoza, who scored nine points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Tony Clarida, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
It was another big night for Tim Selway, who dropped a double-double on 42 points and 13 rebounds for More. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Selway has scored all season. Anthony Selway was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five steals.
DCP Alum Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for More, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.
DCP Alum Rock the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome North Valley Baptist at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. North Valley Baptist has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 186 points over their last three contests. More on the road again on Friday and play against El Primero at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. El Primero will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1332nd, while More is ranked 659th).
