Santa Ynez's win  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-0. As for Bishop Diego,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-2.
 Santa Ynez wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  game,  a  51-47  victory against Eastside on the 30th. As for Bishop Diego, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  61-58  win against Orcutt Academy on the 3rd.
