Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Lakeside Rams walked away with it. They took down Harrison 58-42 on Friday. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lakeside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyler Wolf, who picked up 256 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. Another player making a difference was Grady Ohman, who rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per carry.
Despite the loss, Harrison still got an impressive performance from Braden Long, who rushed for 249 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. Long was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 69 yards. Eli Mcnutt was another key contributor, rushing for 135 yards and two touchdowns.
Lakeside is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Harrison, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.
Lakeside will take on Pine Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pine Bluff is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. Harrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
