After nine games on the road, Doss is heading back home. They will take on the Western Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Doss will be strutting in after a victory while Western will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Doss narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Iroquois 36-33.
Meanwhile, Western's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 57-46 to Seneca.
Doss' victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7. As for Western, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season.
Doss was dealt a bruising 60-26 defeat at the hands of Western when the teams last played back in December of 2022. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Doss was down 32-11.
