The Moffat County Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They walked away with a 70-62 win over Basalt. The victory was some much needed relief for Moffat County as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Among those leading the charge was Hudson Jones, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaylan Kirby, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Moffat County's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Basalt, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moffat County will face off against Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Basalt, they will head out on the road to face off against Steamboat Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
