Concord proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 33) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They escaped with a win against the St. Patrick Shamrocks by the margin of a single free throw, 35-34. The win was familiar territory for the Yellowjackets, who have now won seven contests in a row.
Concord was led to victory by Grace Thorrez and Bradie Lehman. Thorrez posted 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and five blocks, while Lehman had eight points along with seven steals and six boards. Lehman is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Cieara Barrett, who scored nine points and five boards.
