Quinter is 8-2 against Rawlins County since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Quinter Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Rawlins County Buffaloes at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Quinter has five straight wins, Rawlins County has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Quinter can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They breezed by Wheatland-Grinnell on the road to the tune of 67-27. Quinter pushed the score to 58-21 by the end of the third, a deficit Wheatland-Grinnell had no chance of recovering from.
Quinter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shea Salyers, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Trace Kinderknecht, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Rawlins County lost to Cheylin on the road by a decisive 62-44 margin on Tuesday.
Quinter is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Rawlins County, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-12.
Quinter came up short against Rawlins County in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 59-49.
