Hamilton/Audubon have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell to Butler 56-51.
Danny Bennett was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points for Butler. Bennett is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 14 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dwayne Haliburton, who scored 12 points.
Hamilton/Audubon has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-5 record this season. As for Butler, their win bumped their record up to 10-14.
Hamilton/Audubon will head out on the road to challenge the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Butler, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Catamounts at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
