In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jonathan Hernandez Carr, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Carson Felts was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with.
Barron Collier's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Palmetto Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
