The Taft Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 22 points or more this season. They ended the year with a bang, routing San Luis Obispo Classical Academy 64-38. The win made it back-to-back wins for Taft.
Taft was led to victory by Nick Andrade and Blaine Neudorf. Andrade scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Neudorf dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. The match was Neudorf's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Chase Phillips was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six assists and five rebounds.
The victory got Taft back to even at 7-7. As for San Luis Obispo Classical Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.
