Sadly, the Miami Eagles are still looking for their first win of the season after 11 contests. They had to suffer through a rough 63-8 loss at the hands of Bronaugh. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Miami has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bronaugh to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tucker Duncan, who scored 26 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. It was the first time this season that Duncan posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Strauss Banes, who scored 19 points along with seven steals and six assists.
Miami's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Bronaugh, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-10.
Miami will be playing at home against Ballard at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ballard is coming into the contest with six straight losses on the road, meaning Miami will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. As for Bronaugh, they will challenge Northeast Vernon County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
