Phoenix Academy came up short on Friday despite Chayse Gallo delivering his best game to date. Gallo dropped a season-high 18 points in Phoenix Academy's 51-49 loss. It was the first time this season that Gallo scored 15 or more points.
Gallo and Phoenix Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Triad Baptist Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. Phoenix Academy will be headed into this one with a pretty big disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 320 places lower in North Carolina), but they're not letting that get them down.
