Despite the defeat, Lutheran South Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Annaliese De La Pena went 9 of 14 on her way to 21 points and six boards. Logos Prep Academy's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-3. As for Lutheran South Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logos Prep Academy will challenge Second Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
