The Krum Bobcats will take on the Aubrey Chaparrals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Krum comes in on 13 and Aubrey on three.
Krum's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Ranchview with a sharp 15-0 win. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

Brooke Staton looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Krum got a massive performance out of Taylor Fauver, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Fauver is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Rylee Tucker, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Krum was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of 1.000. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .381 or higher in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, everything went Aubrey's way against Ranchview on Monday as Aubrey made off with a 16-0 victory. The Chaparrals are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the eighth game they've won by 6+ runs this season.
Ranchview's batters probably weren't too happy with Molly Reid, who pitched a no hitter and racked up nine Ks (she gave up zero walks). The dominant performance gave Reid a new career-high in strikeouts.
On the hitting side, Abby Lynch-Buxton was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Mulhern, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
Krum pushed their record up to 13-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Aubrey, their record is now 15-2.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Krum has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .528. However, it's not like Aubrey struggles in that department as they've averaged .478. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Krum beat Aubrey 4-0 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Will Krum repeat their success, or does Aubrey have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
