Basketball Recap: Stonewall Piles Up the Points Against Stringtown

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stonewall). They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 83-32 victory over the Stringtown Tigers. The win was nothing new for the Longhorns as they're now sitting on three straight.

Stonewall is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Stringtown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stonewall will host Stratford at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stringtown, they will be home for the holidays to greet Tushka at 8:00 p.m. on December 19th. Stringtown is facing Tushka at the right time seeing as Tushka is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
