The Greenway Demons suffered their biggest defeat since December 4, 2023 on Thursday. They were the victim of a rough 62-37 loss at the hands of Paradise Honors. Greenway has struggled against Paradise Honors recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Morgan Van Dyke was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds for Paradise Honors. That makes it four consecutive games in which Van Dyke has scored at least a third of Paradise Honors' points. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Gewargis, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Greenway's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-10. As for Paradise Honors, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
