Chamblee lost against Druid Hills last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10.

Yana Barga paced Chamblee's offense, picking up four kills. Barga got some help from Emma Lane and her five assists.

Chamblee's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Druid Hills, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Coincidentally, Chamblee and Druid Hills will both be playing Mount Vernon the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Red Devils will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
