Asher Jones was his usual excellent self, rushing for 53 yards and one score, while also throwing for 97 yards and one touchdown. Jandell Pena was another key player, rushing for 60 yards and one TD.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lampeter-Strasburg was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 242 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 23 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Brady Cunningham, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a punt return touchdown from Alex Salaki.
Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Eastern Lebanon County, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They walked away with a 21-13 win over Octorara Area on Friday. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Raiders were the (much) better team in the second half.
Lampeter-Strasburg better keep an eye on Brinley Donmoyer. He was instrumental in Eastern Lebanon County's win, rushing for 37 yards and one score, while also picking up 36 receiving yards.
The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Lampeter-Strasburg, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
