Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask John Paul II). They never let the Bishop Lynch Friars get on the board and left with a 21-0 win on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won eight contests in a row.

John Paul II pushed their record up to 22-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.6 runs over those games. As for Bishop Lynch, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
