Southlake Carroll had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Guyer Wildcats 51-19 on Saturday. Considering the Dragons have won 13 contests by more than 27 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Southlake Carroll had a senior duo take command as Davis Penn rushed for 161 yards and one score while picking up 8.9 yards per carry and Angelo Renda threw for 235 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 16 passes.
