After losing to Schley County the last time they met, Harris County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers blew past the Wildcats 13-3 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Harris County let Daejeon Elder and Colt Angel run wild. Elder scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3, while Angel scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Those three runs gave Elder a new career-high. Luke McEldoon was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Harris County is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Schley County, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Harris County beat the Wildcats by a score of 7-2 later that day.
