The Sizer White Tigers had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of Francis Parker Charter Essential School by a score of 45-42. Sizer lost against Francis Parker Charter Essential School in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 71-59 score last time.
Liam Almond was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 17 points along with 9 assists and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Bryant, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Sizer's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Francis Parker Charter Essential School, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sizer will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Lancaster Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th. As for Francis Parker Charter Essential School, they will head out on the road to face off against Bromfield at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
