Forest Hills Eastern entered their tilt with Christian on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Eagles 16-1. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

Samira Zehner made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Forest Hills Eastern let Emilee Nowicki and Samantha Hancart run wild. Nowicki got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, two RBI, and one double, while Hancart went 2-for-3 with four runs, one double, and one RBI. Those four runs gave Hancart a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kate Burmania, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Forest Hills Eastern kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in six consecutive games.

Forest Hills Eastern's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Christian, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest Hills Eastern will take on Northview at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Christian, they will face off against Forest Hills Central at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles are facing the Rangers at the right time seeing as the Rangers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
